Today, while dusting my shelves I’ve spotted one (maybe not very old) black and red book, forgotten and desolated. I haven’t even read it from cover to cover, but it’s stil one of my favourites. What’s the title, you ask?
Okay, so who knows Peter Doherty? We all do. Well, I hope we do. And some of you probably heard about The Libertines. Even if you aren’t keen on being a fangirl/boy of some band, you need to check out this one. Because of photographs. They are fabulous.
It’s called “Bound together” and everything about it is literally amazing. I’m not very
much into photography, but I can admire well made shot when I see it - same for
design. Roger Sargent did bunch of surprisingly awesome pictures…maybe because they were candids. And for slash fangirls, it’s very homoromantic too. But mostly emotional and great to look at.
Photographs, awr…You know these black and white, expensive fashion lookbooks? It’s something like that, really.
It’s hardcover! Paper is glossy&shiny&superthick! You don’t even need to read it, just buy it.
